About

I created this blog because I’m the sort of person that always has a hair-brained scheme on the go.  I’m a tinkerer – I like to get stuck in and have a go.

The internet is a great resource for those of us that don’t mind getting our hands dirty.  I know I always do a quick search to see how others have gone about a similar task.  It is for that reason that I thought it about time I record some of my projects.  Perhaps once the information is up someone else may use it as a seed to solve their own problem, save some time reinventing the wheel or even just learn from my mistakes!

If you have any questions post them up in the comments section.

Use of this information

Perhaps it’s a reflection on the times we live, but I do feel compelled to point out…

This blog is simply a record of some of the things I’ve done and how I’ve done them.  I’m not encouraging you to do the same.  Of course if you wish to, then that is up to you – and you bear the responsibility for that.

I’m not saying that the way I’ve done things is either correct or safe.  You have to make your own judgement or ask an expert in the field.

Thanks for leaving a comment. I had noticed the traffic increase in my stats but had not realised I had been featured. Somewhat surprised that they don’t notify the author. Hope your hubby enjoys what he reads!
